My name is Livio Burtscher, I am 30 years old and I live in Lucerne, Switzerland. People and the traces they leave behind are at the centre of my work. I continue to explore the representation of identity and body image through my artistic practice.
My sensitivity and interest in social issues is rooted in my previous work as a social worker. I work mainly with photographic techniques in a documentary or speculative manner. In summer 2024 I finished my Bachelor degree in Visual communication Cameraarts at the HSLU DFK.
